This property is one of the reasons behind its use in skin care products.
Sage essential oil aids digestion, calms the stomach and improves the functionality of the entire digestive system against inflammation caused by excess acids. It also neutralizes acids in the stomach and bloodstream, providing relief from heartburn and acidosis, which in turn protects us from peptic ulcers due to acidity, as well as boils, rashes and skin diseases that occur when acid levels rise in the blood.
